Thieffry Frères

Founded in 1837, Thieffry Frères has been in the family for eight generations. The factory is located in Roubaix, France, about an hour from Paris (by train) and 10 minutes from Belgium.

The linen plants are grown, dried, and woven into fabric a few hours away, then brought down to Roubaix where the fabric is washed, dyed, and pressed.

Finally, it is driven to the Theiffry factory (also in Roubaix) to be cut, hemmed, and sewn into aprons, pot holders, bags, and more.

Sebastien Thieffry (above), his wife, and three of their four children are all involved in the business.
