Shipping Information
- We offer shipping to the continental U.S. only. At this time, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, BFPO, APO/ FPO, or any other military addresses.
- All orders are processed within 1 business day.
- If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or delays, we will contact you via email.

Returns Policy
- All returns must be processed within ten days of receipt of the shipment.
- Once returns are processed, they must be immediately released to shipping carrier.
- If a product is defective, in order for returns to be approved, we must receive pictures showing the damage/defect.
- French Dry Goods will determine whether we want defective goods returned or if they should be field destroyed. If we do want a defective item back, we will cover the cost of return freight.
- Replacements may not always be available, in which case we will offer a full refund including the cost of freight. If a replacement is available, we will notify you and send it within three days of the defect/damage claim
- If you wish to return a product that's in perfect condition, you're responsible for shipping it back to us at 2310 4th Street in Berkeley. Once the item has arrived and we've assessed that it's in perfect condition, we will issue a refund and deduct a $10 restocking fee.

Natural firelighters
The Maison Pechavy fire starter is made of wood wool from sustainably managed and FSC-certified forests and is environmentally friendly. It is impregnated with pure, odourless wax, so you can enjoy perfect, environmentally friendly cooking. These natural fibre balls leave no taste, no chemical smoke and no toxic residues on the food. The burning time of a fire starter is 8 to 10 minutes, 1 to 2 sticks are enough!
Long matches
Maison Pechavy long matches are unique, they allow you to light your barbecue fire safely and without risk of burns. These long matches are made from natural poplar and are not treated in order to respect the grills and the atmosphere of your barbecues.
The method is simple. Place the firelighters in the bowl of your barbecue and cover it with firewood. Light the fire with the Maison Pechavy long matches. Once the fire is well established, the charcoal can be poured in.
