Description

Hailing from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Valérie Casado is one of the finest potters in France. While she has spent the last 15 years selling her cherished ceramics overseas in a small-scale business environment, finally sought-after works available to us.

The black clay she uses is known for its strength and a feather-light feel. The imperfections and natural shapes in the edges embody natural life and give endless personality.

She incorporates dried herbs and wildflowers from her garden into the process of pad-printing lace. Valérie is our founder's favorite pottery artisan in France, so we are honored to be showing her works to you.
